We need ken to hook us up with a group purchase for one of these auto Flags, like you see for sport teams.

somthin' like:
http://www.universalshopping.com/car-flag.html

But, naturally it should have an FTE logo...

I don't think the wife will be attending, so if not you are more than welcome to ride with me, Brian. I live just south of Oklahoma City, so for you texas guys, maybe we'll see you on the road. I believe we are all heading up through tulsa, and meeting up with the tulsa folks and having breakfast before we go, you should consider if you want to join up. Just head to the Oklahoma chapter and find the link, we've been talking alot about it.

Hey guys, let me know when yall are coming thru Wichita and you can follow me there since I know the way. I am thinking of heading up there friday morning maybe thursday night but that all depends on what time yall will be thru. Also if ya need any directions let me know. And, a piece of advice, the turnpike is only $6 from here to KC and well worth it since the alternate route is not that great.

you are very right Duane, but we gotta have our chapter loyalty!!! hahaha, I think I may go the old route anyway, since my truck isn't any good past about 60 mph anyway. but then the stop and go wears harder on parts than long straight passes, and the minimum speed is like 50 on the turnpike, isn't it......I don't HAVE to do 70+. I may consider, but will most likely do the tulsa route anyway.let's see what the other central and southern OK peeps (those using I-35) say.

I will be driving the Pa. Turnpike from NJ. The wife and I will be leaving Tuesday for a Thursday afternoon or evening arrival. We will most likely make a quick trip to Manhattan, maybe drop off the wife to visit our new Vet. Anyone from the Northeast taking this route? Where do we stop overnight? I'll be hooking up a temporary CB for the drive (channel 4ord).

Ranger240, I called KTA and they say the minimum on the pike is 45mph but said as long as it's not a traffic hazard they kinda look the other way.

Clint, I might take ya up on that, in fact, is ur trailer tied up that weekend??? I don't know if the bosses is gonna be free or not and one without sides might be better. It's up to you.

k, I'll look it up on the map and do the math for mileage, as money is a VERY important and scarce commadaty around here, I think I'll let that do the deciding. oh and I am SURE gas will be at a "PREMIUM" on the turn pike, huh? anyway, I'll let you know.

Ranger, piece of advice, fill up in Oklahoma before you get into KS, it's usually 8-10 cents cheaper there than here.

Clint, I keep dreaming about the lottery too hehehe. If it's cool with you I would greatly appreciate it.
