went wheelin over the weekend, and my buddy wanted to take shots of my flexing my suspension i got one of my rear wheels like 6 inches off the ground and there was so much torque on the bed and cab that my tailgate dented. it undented after i came off the rocks. just something i wanted to throw out there
i know that 6" really isnt that much but i thought it was something pretty cool cuz i dont have tons of money to put in my truck cuz i go to school full time so for what i have in my truck and for what i have done with it im impressed
props to ya for trying... and wird of advice, next time you blow all that cash into a truck make sure it performs. just to give you an idea i can get my rear tires up about 38 inches and i am working on the front now to soften them up and i didn't spend hardly anything doing it

i have been wheelin with trucks since i was a freshman in high skool but i have been riding 4 wheelers, and still have 2 of thema warrior and a lakota, since i got my first plastic honda when i was 2
one thing i want to do with my truck is go bigger, but its tough to do in mass because of the stupid lift law in this state that you cant go more than 2 inches and the cops around my area of the state love to write tickets for altered vehicle height
so lift it and make bumpers that are removable. something simple like whats used on the back of tractor-trailers. just simple tubing that has pins in it that you can pull and gain all your clearance back. also dont fall into the bandwagon thinking that to go offroading you have to have 3 feet of lift and the biggest tires you can stuff. really, i lost track but to give you an idea i am running stock f-150 rear springs in the rear and have pulled the overload leaf so i am running lower than stock trucks.
So drop it, and add the little funky things you can do to make it flex, i've seen a few fullsize broncos up in the mountains to keep the center of gravity low, they could sidehill ditches that were around 65-70 degree angles.
