New muffler????

Thinking about putting a new muffler on my 99.5 SD. Which would be the best for a stock system?? I think I was reading about NAPA selling one called BTM muffler but not sure. I already have the Napa filter and sonnax valve/T. springs, 5.6 clamp mod now I am thinking about a new muffler. Any advice would be helpful

I just took the muffler right off of my 95, you can hardly tell the difference..... the stocker on mine was a straight through that you could have put a pipe right through it without touching anything...

I'm running the BTM on mine along with a sonnax and 6637 intake. You can get them at NAPA part number is 21470, or blackclouddiesel.com sells them for $54 shipped wich is cheaper than I paid for mine at NAPA. Check out my page in my sig. I like the sound and it does help out with EGT's. Not as well as a full system would but its alot cheaper.

I have been running a Walker BTM for the last several months. I love it. The last thing I wanted was a loud truck. With the BTM, it stayed pretty quite (my wife didn't notice) but when I want to really get on it, the truck has a nice sound of power. I promise you won't regret putting on a BTM.
