I'm thinking about getting it done next week. They have colors to match any truck. Also glow-in-the-dark. I'm just getting black because thats what I like best with my 05 Silver Super Duty. They are charging me $435.
If anyone has a different color in a silver truck please post a pic.
For that kind of money you can buy a Duraliner or another brand and really throw stuff in the bed. I've accidently loaded furniture in that had screws sticking out that would eat spray on for lunch.

Port City, do a search on spray in liners, or Line-X, or Rhino lining. Tons of opinions. I went with the Line-X because: 1) I didn't like the looks of Rhino 2) The price was awesome, got 10% off 3) It has a nationwide warranty which I don't think anyone has. 4) And I liked the look of it the best.

Thanks for the search advice. I'm new to the site and now I know that I can use a search to read up on things like that.
There has been so much talk about liners to look at it made me dizzy reading through it. I learned alot and I found a Line-X dealer 10 miles from me that I will call tommorrow and get a price and a date of installation.
After reading through past opinions and your opinion I think I'm going with Line-X.......if the price is right.
The better plastic liners are grooved and open at the back, they don't retain water.
In reality, it comes down to what YOU want. Opinions are great, they steer you toward good stuff and away from bad stuff.
Buy in the end it's what makes you happy.
Good luck in whatever you get, and post some pics in your Gallery!
I had a plastic insert that really messed up a bed of one of my pick-ups before. It held moisture which started a major rust problem in the bed.
The plastic inserts are only $250.
Is $435. way too much for a spray-on?
Is Rhino Lining any better/cheaper than Perma-Tech spray on?
If I remember correctly, after an 8.3%tax and a 20 off coupon, I paid $400 total for the Line-X . I've hauled several pallets of brick n mud and the liner only shows a few surface scratches. I was told that if the liner does tear it can be repaired

Just curious, but how did you get the coupon?? THinking of going with a spray on soon.
I had Rhino in my old truck. It lasted 8 years with only 2 minor nicks. Both where around the bed bolts from me using a shovel in the bed to get dirt out. Rhino has the lifetime warr to fix the nicks but I never bothered, they were too small to bother.
Since it served me soo well in the old truck the new truck got the same. I have Rhino and love it, my buddy has Line-X and loves it. Both are awesome products and I seriously doubt either will do you wrong.
I just had my truck line-x this weekend. Looks great and now I can use the bed and not worry about it. I already had a scratch or two from small stuff. On scratch was from a cardboard box. It was about $450 for an F250 Short bed.
anyone using a spray on type bed liner product other than in the truck bed?
for example, wheel wells, or as rock chip protectant on the lower fenders? any
place else???? all ideas welcomed......

I never heard of Perm-a-tech to chime in on it.
Have you and your buddy ever compared the two, Line-X and Rhino? I'm thinking of getting the Line-X but have never seem the Rhino. Thanks.

I believe the Rihno is a bit softer (compound- Less Slippage) than the Line X, People say that there is differences in the look but people have the choice of what type of texture they want. I believe Rihno is a low pressure aplication and Line X is a high pressure Aplication but I'm not sure. Also it seems that the warenties vary with the dealers.
