Transfer case problem

My 2003 7.3 is getting stuck in 4x4 low range, you have to cycle through the trans a number of times to get it to disengage. The truck is still under warrenty, but would rather not have it off the road if it is a easy/cheap fix.

Are you engaging/disengaging in neutral? Last time I knew you had to be in neutral for LOW RANGE. Good luck!

Yes it has to be in neutral to get it out of "low". Foot on the brake with ESOF. Usually on the flat and no drivetrain bind works best wheels straight.
