Replacing upper ball joint on 87 B2
Hi all, 87 B2 4x4
I was curious if it was possible to replace the upper ball joint with out pulling the bottom one out too? I have the ball joint C-clamp press tool, but haven't looked yet to see if it will be able to fit to pull it out.
As well, if I can change it, without pulling the bottom one, can I just torque up the top ball joint or do I have to do the torque sequence? The top joint is nfg but the bottom one is fine.

Nevermind got it changed today, have to take both out and bring the steering knuckle to the bench.
Worst part of the job was getting the rusted solid spindle off the steering knuckle!!
Not something i'd want to tackle everyday hehe
