Adapter plates
I"m want to put a 302 engine in a 1948 ford F1 pickup and I'm in a bad need of a adapter plate 302 to the stock three speed tran. anyone can me locate one. I been working on this for three year and that all I need drive it . Thanks.

There is a company that makes a kit which allows you to put a new tranny behind a flathead. I guess its possible that they do it the other way around, too.
If not, maybe they could steer you in the right direction. www.flat-o.com
