400 trouble
i recently dropped a 400 from a 72 ltd into my 78 f150. the engine was running fine great and had instant throttle response, and idled awesome. its been two days and its run awesome til today. you give it gas and it hardly moves until about 15 mph and then its fine, and it wont stay running at a stoplight and it will die if you mash the throttle. it just rained for the first time since i had it in could the moisture have something to do with it. i think its a fuel problem or possibly timing (except it idles fine) any help would be appreciated.

yeah my brother started this thread, but i helped him fix it,we found out that the bolt that holds the distributor on came loose, and the timng was off, so we messed around w/ the timing gun and now he says it runs better than it did b4, when it was already running good.
also, there was a vacuum leak right below the carburator. thanks again
