Hi guys,
Does anyone else experience this...gas pump won't fill the tank without the pump handle shutting off MULTIPLE times...sometimes have to simply hand hold it and wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
This is the front tank on a 90 F150 supercab. Has only been doing this about a month...does it at every station. Rear tank can be filled just fine with any auto shut-off pump. Hmmm. Any ideas??
Check the vent hose from that tank ...it may be kinked or restricted some ? Also , what I have learned to do is park at the pump with the truck leaning to the right some . Some pump islands are flat and some are angled away from the pump . Parking with truck angled to the right some lets the air flow out the vent more easily .
