MIL Eliminators

I have the parts to make them but I am having trouble finding detailed instructions on how to make them.Do I have to solder? Where do I position the parts on the pc board.

I just bought some good ones off ebay that plug in and they work great, they also sell the ones that are just 2 peices of wire with ta resister in them, they are like $10..
