Trans temp gauge

Where does the probe go for the trans temp gauge ?

torqeshift

on a torqeshift there is a fluid inspection point on the driver side just above the shift linkage it is 1/8" npt it has fluid behind it, it worked for me and my buddy's

Is 1/8 inch enough for the probe to work properly. The fitting that comes with the
