Fuel sending unit
Try local auto parts stores . If you have done that and they say they dont stock it , Ford may be your only choice . Online auto parts stores seem to be popular , but you have to wait and there is no guarantee you will recieve the right part .

On the '87-'90 Ford trucks, the fuel level sender is integral with the in-tank pump and as far as I know you can only get new ones with the pump from Ford.
