welcome to fte. hang around and ask ?'s lots of them. you will learn to talk diesel fast enough. many of these men know a lot esp. when it comes to fords psd's.
from a mechanics veiw a fuel conditioner every so many tanks never hurts. and if you live in a cold area antigell in every tank full in the very cold winter months never hurts either. as you never know whats in some stations tanks. by that i mean is it summer blend or winter blend.

i have an 03 as well and run it every tank. i was getting a cylinder imabalence code for awhile. that is until i refilled the truck and added powerservice and the code never came back. i usually add about 3/4 of a quart with a fill up. i am pretty new to diesel as well but am lovin my march 03 (never been to the dealer) truck!
