cleaning throttle bores
What is the correct procedure for cleanig the throttle bores on a 91 f150 with a 302 after cleaning should i disconnect the battery and then reconnect it so the computer will be reset to handle the original idle. the reason i am doing this is because my truck tends to want to idle fast when you go to use it , but after you shut it off, and restart it ,it idles correctly ,but the next morning i Have to go thru the same procedure of starting it and then restarting to get it to idle correctly.
