'04 PSD X, same issue
My climate control screen went blank today. I remember reading about this phenomenon and was planning on replacing the fuse and/or doing a search on FTE to see what was up. I found the fuse value while at one of those three-minute lights. I also tried all the other circuits to see if it was more than the climate control. Nope, that is all it was. I was about a block from home (20 minute ride total) and was wondering if it was only the backlight that was out, so I tried hitting the fan and temp control several times on the steering controls. All of a sudden, I heard a relay click and all is well. I never had a chance to turn off the ignition because I was still en-route. Is this problem caused by a sticky relay or is there more to this? Now that this happened, am I going to see this again?

My 2005 diesel Ltd climate control panel went blank right after starting engine. Waited a couple of seconds pushed climate control buttons, nothing. Rotated the light switch and and voila. Panel lit up and no problem since...

Mine has gone blank AND the A/C etc stopped working several times this summer. Starts working again in a few minutes. I am assuming it is a breaker that trips and then resets.
