Hello everyone, I am new to this. And I have already come up with a question that I hope that someone can help me with.
Where can I find a web site or a book or something that will tell me how to decode a VIN for a 1956 F-100?
I am currently restoring one, and would like to find out more about the truck that I bought.

F10 = F-100
V = 272ci 8 cyl 2BBL carb
7 = 1957 ??
6 = 1956 I think you added the 7 by mistake..
K = Kansas City, MO ( Plant where it was built )
17087 is the Series number
