Does anyone have any experience installing Aftermarket servos in a C6 tranny? I am not talking about a shift kit; I am talking about swapping out the servo assembly to increase band apply force. Is it worth the investment?? Here is a description of what I am talking about (this was taken off of summit racing online):
JET Billet Powr-ServosHarder, stronger shifts.
For heavy towing or high performance applications, use JET's Billet Powr-Servos. They install easily on the outside of the transmission housing and features a large apply area, which holds the band with greater force. They improve the 1-2 shift and prevent band slippage under hard throttle or towing conditions.
Do you want a "comfort" ride or a "race" ride. You shifts will be almost instant. NO shift lag. This will chirp the tires and hurt your back if your motor has enough power.
Also change the servo arm inside to get a higher mechanical advantage. If you can find the relineable forged intermediate band it's alot stronger but hard to find.
