Well after a lot of promises it finally got here. Has been raining and storming pretty good this evening. We had probably 2 or more inches already. Most has moved out now and is headed to Lawrence and KC.
Look at the radar, the storms are all lined up and heading through here and towards KC. Looks like it could go on most of the night. I love it, lots of storms my favorite weather. Now if it could throw in a tornado or two.
Oh but those are the best storms. I am a chaser and love to go after them little suckers. No worries since I have a RED truck I know I can get away from them. LOL
Yeah, Tony was REALLY right when he told me I had 20 min. or less last night when I was drilling and tapping new threads!!! Then he came up with some lingo that, instead od tapping a hole, had me scratching my head!!! Then it hit!!!! Man was he ever right!!!!!
Got them all done though, a little wet!!!! It was a relief to see some good rain for once too.
Tony, don't forget to get a dozen gerbils to through in there before we button her up!!!

ya the only thing that sucks about it. is the power goin out. i had to reset my alarm like 600 times. and i was late for school. rain is sweet tho, makes off-roadin better.

Well I can only find 3. Seems that gerbils have been on short supply around here lately. I think the NW boys might have something to do with that. Anyways the good news is that the gerbils that I found are the "Screaming Gerbil" varity. Some say that one screaming Gerbil is worth a dozen non-screaming gerbils. So we sould be good to go!
Hey, the sun is shining this morning, it is cool and I don't have to water the lawn. We had nice rain in Manhattan and no hail or really bad weather. We couldn't ask for more. The down side is the lawn needs to be mowed again.
Well the rain turned out to be a real bummer for us today, it got the river way up and had one heck of a current to it. they canseled the boat races after one of the bathtub boats flipped over and they almost lost a couple of people after the 2 rescue jet skies flipped over trying to get to them. so we had to haul em back to the school and wait for another day. Then we myself and the rest of the family got back up there and found my parking lot. I like the one just east of the hyatt at the south end cuz it's really rough and no one likes to park there so it's easier to get a spot, but when we got there we found it pretty muddy so I threw the ol exploder into 4 lo and went in to find the little bugger does pretty well in the mucky stuff, wife didn't agree and was yelling ALOT (I heard my name followed by a few not so kind remarks) and alot of lookout's but at least i got to sling a little mud with the new ride.
BTW, I don't think after tonight i could get her to let me take it to Tuttle lol
