Omigod-X gets hit at intersection
I read a thread a few weeks ago of why people drive an "X"-now I know firsthand. My wife got in the "x" today to pick up the kids afterwork and was hit by an oncoming car as she turned left through an intersection. She was ok but when she called me I expected the worse. I quickly drove to the accident sight-on the way there she told me the tow truck was waiting to load the "X" to take it to be stored. I told her to tell the police she was waiting for me before they towed the car-unsure of the damage I wasn't ready to have the car sit at some undisclosed location. Begrudgingly, the officer let her move it 15 feet to a parking lot to wait for me. I showed up a short time later to find a flat right rear tire and scratched wheel well molding. The other car was totaled and sustained major damage to the front. The other driver was ok but taken in ambulance to be checked out. The officers at the scene couldn't believe there was no damage other than a flat tire and scuffed trim. I changed the tire and we drove home together-I'll have to get the tire replaced and trim painted but the family is safe!

Also get the frame checked, could have been tweaked in the hit.
Glad to hear that everyone is OK. They are a beast and your family just found out how well they protect their occupants! Mine has saved my family from a felon running from the Cops and a drunk driver....
