E4OD Service Question for Transmission Experienced

I have an E4OD in my 1996 F53 and running a Banks TransCommand behind a 460. I run at a loaded weight of about 16,000 lbs. Transmission working fine. Never any signs of overheating. Shifts well for an E4OD. Mileage at 48,000. I am the only driver. Serviced tranny, replaced filter, found fluid clear, no indication of clutch parts or trash in the sump. A few very small bushing flakes that I have seen in other tranny pans. The magnet had a very small amount of "fuzz", just enough to cover all surfaces. Might have been 1/2 teaspoon. In the E4OD is this a problem? Any knowledgable answers appreciated. oldogy

E4OD Service Question for Transmission Experienced

If all you found on the magnets was that .... dont worry about it . Its when you find the big pieces in the E4OD that will cause the problems ...but by then you will know something is wrong . I think as long as you keep those trannys serviced on a regular basis , and it has its own cooler , I think that goes a long way to keeping those trannys going .
