I have purchased a cab height camper shell for my 2000 supercab, and would like to know the best way to wire in the third(high mounted) brake light, and interior light. Is there a factory take off anywhere?
I tried searching previous posts with no luck. Part of my problem is I am not sure "camper shell" is the right term. I used to call it a canopy, but have seen camper shell, camper top, topper and tonneau, etc. Thanks.
I have found the light green wire that my wiring diagram refers to as "aftermarket CHMSL" which I assume means camper high mounted stop light. That will work fine for the brake light.
The second part of my question is how to wire in the camper interior light. I would like it to come on with the cab interior lights. Any suggestions? Thanks.
