Tranny fluid dripping
I was doing some off roading and got stuck in some snow. After trying to get out for a while I looked under the truck and there was tranny fluid dripping pretty quickly from the hole in the bell shroud. Anyone have a thought on what might be going on? I havent filled the tranny since I bought it and I checked the fluid level today and it was good. Its not dripping now, just when I was in 4WD trying to get out of the snow. I have a late 99 superduty diesel if that helps. Thanks for any thoughts.

It could have been slightly overfull and pushed some out when "working" the trans while being stuck. I'd keep and eye on it and if it doesn't keep leaking, I wouldn't worry too much about it.
