front axle ?.

I am tired of breaking front axles on my dana 44, ? is there a way to put a dana 60 under my bogger? My bogger is a 78 f150 with a 85 bII body on the frame, the front part of the frame is bobbed off. Can I use the spring perches and radius arms off the 44 axle and adapt to the 60 axle? Any thoughts and ideals would be helpful. thanks Billy.

there is always a way

a lot of people have put coil buckets on the D60, i have never done it but from what i have heard it is very easy. you might be better off building your own radius arms and front suspension!

Hell, I'd rather four link it than put radius arms on a d60, but if thats the route you want to go its easy to weld on the buckets and arms.

You could go with the new bling 35spl shafts and ctms instead , but that might just a bit pricey.

But you can buy the buckets new through one of the lift companies i believe (and jeff's bronco graveyard to i believe), skyjacker comes to mind.

Fo shizzle. Why not do a 4 link or 5 link front suspension with coil springs? It won't be much more work than building custom radius arms and it will perform a hell of a lot better. You can build your own spring buckeys with some 4" pipe. Check your steel scrap yards.
