Gas Tank Problems
I recently notice that the gas tank was leaking in my B II and i was wondering what all I would have to go through to take the cover off of it and patch it. Also i would like to know what to patch it with.

My skid plate was a little pain in the butt to get off. I had to totally remove mine. It was leaking were the straps hold the tank on. It is a little tight to get the line off the tank before dropping it to the ground. As far as the patching goes I used JB Weld. Clean and sand tank where the hole is. Use some Brake cleaner to remove any invisble dirt or grease. Apply JB Weld and let sit overnight. Repaired mine 4 or 5 years ago. Still holding.
