I need help
I have a 1983 Ford F-150 and I recently was looking in under the hood and I noticed that oil was leaking and it was on the front of the cab behind the valve covers in the hood. I then noticed a loose tube that had broke off of the breather I think because right behind the PCV Valve there is a little white round thing with a clip in it and I was wondering what that might be and what I would need to do to fix it. I would also appreciate it if any body would send me a diagram of the breather and all the stuff that is hooked to it. Could be the valve cover gaskets are leaking at the rear, could also be the rear intake manifold gasket is gone. Not as likely but the rear main seal could be blown and slinging it up there too.
As for the tubes on the breather, your best bet is to get a book on your truck but some diagrams can be found on this site.
