Red face Engine advice...

I'm getting ready to start working on my"new" 69 F-250 camper special, and i need some advice. I did a motor swap on my 1983 F-100 (pulled out a blown I-6 and dropped in a 302). How difficult is it to pull the engine out of one of these babies? The engine is a 390 and i would like to rebuild it, give it a few light mods and drive it. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks in advance.

if you have basic mechanical skills it is an easy job to pull if you have tools. there's not much to it. just take note of how it comes apart. i always put the bolts and nuts back where they came out of once the piece ive removed is out so the bolts dont get mixed up, or you can bag and label them

I agree with Steve, with fluid over 700 lbs to pull, but with proper tools an easy task. A couple different size ziplock bags and a Sharpie can make reinstall a lot easier.
