My new F250 is at the dealer I will pick it up tomorrow tires are B. F. Goodrich rugged trails they don't look good for mud at all. I have Kelly MSR,S on my truck know good all around tire. I have the tires sipped for winter but good all around tire. Has the B. F. Goodrich tires good or change when new. Waiting to drive the Ford V10 I will let you know tomorrow.
New in 2005 was the much improved brakes. Form managed to get it right finally. Unfortunatly the bigger rotors will not let 16" rims fit any more. Double damn is that in 17 or 18 inch the current tire selection id piddly poor.
There are some options if you don't need the max GVWR you axles will handle but full 3400lb, 3500lb, or 3640lb tires are few and far between and tread selection is even slimer.
Most of us got the Continental ContiTrac TR a mud and snow tire Ford tried to make us believe was an All Terain tire... plenty of posts on this topic in the SuperDuty forum.
I don't know if you will or will not like the BFGs but I bet they are better than the Contis.
Congrats on the new ride, post up a signature, and tell us all about your new found BSEG.

My 05 is the first new pickup out of the 8 new Ford pickups I have bought that has exceeded my expectations in power, fuel economy , and the ability to give me a BSEG.
