Amp Research steps
Just got a 2005 F-250 4X4 and had it lifted, and I want to add the Amp Reserach steps. Now I need some help answering a few questions regarding the Amp Research automatic steps:
1. Does anyone have these, and if so, what are your opinions ?
2. Anyone know where I can get a set ? I have some on order, however I've been told they are on backorder for 12 weeks. I've called and e-mailed Amp Research, however they have not responded.
3. Any suggestions for another automatic step other than the Kodiaks ?
Any help is appreciated !!

Yes I have them.
IMO they are the best. 600lb load rating...they swing down and out the full length of the cab.
I have no problem getting into and out of my 10.5" truck using these steps and neither does my pregnant wife.
You can get a set from Truck-Toyz...they always have them in stock and are one of the largest distributors for AMP. 888-776-8699, speak to Kevin or Marty.

I have them as well.
I love them, makes getting in and out a lot easier and it's a clean look since they hide out of the way.
I also bought mine from Truck Toyz.
Only electric steps I'm aware of are the AMPs and the Kodiaks.

Thanks for your input 
I called Truck-Toyz and they didn't have any, however, they took my name and number and promised to call me when they confirmed the delivery date. They were told 2 weeks, and felt this was a realistic date, so hopefully they're right.
If the steps weren't so kewl I wouldn't wait this long......plus my wife needs a little help getting in so she gave me the OK to buys the steps !!
