Air Cond Compressor replacement

I am installing a new A/C comp. in my 94 Explorer. How much oil do I add to the new compressor??? Instructions that came with it stated... Manufacturer requires correct amount of PAG oil to be added... But does not say how much..I have the Hanes and the Chiltons manuals and they both refer you to the mauufacturer...

A local AC shop should be able to tell you how much oil and refrigerant.

For what it's worth, the Haynes AC and heating manual at autozone lists all the Ford compressor fluid capacities.

I would let you know, but I am in class all day for mini-mester and I don't kow if you have the compressor model number handy....
