Exhaust for Torque
I'm looking to improve my wifes exhaust, she thinks its too quiet (it is). I already modified my air cleaner and used a K&N drop-in (yeah it helped). I'm looking for a cat-back system that will improve my low-end torque as much as possible since I opted for the 4.6 instead of the 5.4. My wife does mostly around town driving and I don't have anything to tow hence my decision to go with the 4.6. She's got a freakin lead foot and the 4.6 sucks enough gas. I know any system I choose will sound better than stock so that's not as much a concern as the power is. Would it be better just to weld in a better muffler and keep the smaller diameter pipes? No, I don't plan on headers, cats or true duals. My 04 GT needs some loving too.
