steering pump clicking?
recently my 87 ranger started making funny sounds. its a clicking type of noise (sounds kinda like a rod but i am %95 sure it is not in the engine) my power steering pump has leaked for a long time now, and im pretty sure that the noise started after i put more power steering fluid into the pump. it only makes the sound during acceleration or cruising, but also not all the time. i have never heard it on decel or at idle.
