88F150-5.0 EFI Cold idle problem

As a strickly do it myself repairmain and not familiar with EFI, I am having a cold start Idle problem with my 5.0. It will start, but will not idle properly until warmed up. I have always been a carb man but know little about EFI. After reading several threads about this problem, I think it lies in the Idle Air control valve but don't know where it is located. Is this a major repair? or can I do it myself? I am knowledgable and handy at do it myself repair and would like to attempt it myself before investing labour time at a shop. Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum.
It is located on the throttlebody. It has a 2 wire plug and is help on by 2 8mm bolts. It is round cylinder on one end and is bolted to the TB on the other.

What was the problem? This could be helpful to somebody else on this forum who may be having the same kind of problem.
