I have a 86 F-350 with a 7.3 (non-powerstroke) with an ATS Turbo. The one thing I hate most is the poof of black smoke when you romp on the deisel. It blows black carbon deposits on my nice chrome bumper and what ever else I'm towing. I would like to re-route the tip to the rear, but it would look funny with only one tip. Is it possible to "Y" after the muffler and create a dual exhaust? What are the pros and cons of doing this.
Thanks to all that reply.
As far as i know, it'd be easier to get a dual output muffler.
I have a buddy with a similr rig and he just ran a pipe behind the rear axle and pointed it down towards the ground instead of out. This would cause the deposits and smoke to hit the ground instead. This also means you woldn't be able to see the pipe, unless you crawled under the rig...
