ABS Brakes

Does anyone have any ideas as to why a the ABS light stands in on a 1997

f-150?

Because the ABS computer has detected something that caused it to fail self-test.

You can download an owner's manual from www.fleet.ford.com if you don't have one. It also explains what all the other lights mean.
