ac blower box question

i have a 79 f-150 supercab and it had the factory ac unit on it well i took it out because i didnt need it now here is my question the blower box is huge and because of its size i can not put the taller valve covers on my new engine that i am putting in it what i want to know is if i can put an non ac blower and heater core in my truck to get rid of that huge blower box in my engine compartment and how hard would it be to do and what do i need

Find a donor pickup to get all of the parts you need. You will need to fab a plate to fit the firewall.

hey

i have the same problem a am doing a restoration and i have that big ugly ac blower box. I have a donor truck without it, so i am cutting it out and welding it in the place of the hole for the blower box.
