Question quick question

got my gauges from dieselmanor, reading through the instructions at the recommended tools etc etc. says i need 1/4" npt tap and 1/8" npt tap, i understand the 1/4 in tap that taps the manifold i believe, correct me if im wrong. what is the 1/8 tap for? fixin to tear into it sunday, yeah mothers day, ill get heat for that, ohhhh welllllll, you guys would do the same.

Well, it's for your EGT thermocouple sensor. You only need one tap size depending upon the size of the thermocouple thread or the coupler that is provided with the thermocouple. I'd try the 1/8" first if it fits. You can always go to 1/4" in the event you screw up the 1/8" attempt.

I got mine from dieselmanor also, the 1/4 tap is for the pyro sender. The 1/8 tap is used for the boost gauge connection if you are drilling and tapping the air horn instead of using a T inline with the map sensor.

cool, now i should be able to hook it up this weekend, hope i dont have any problems, if i do i know i can ask you guys for help. thanks
