ENGINE SWAP DILEMMA....
Hi All...Here's the problem...I have an 86 F250
4x4 302EFI/4sp with the Borg Warner T-case.
I want to replace this with a larger motor and auto trans. I have at my disposal a complete 86
Bronco XLT 351HO/C6, make of T-Case unknown. I also have a 504ci stroker motor with C6 in a 78 Ranchero GT. Both trucks need body work, but the 351 has under 10K on it and the 504 has under 5K on it. I'm sure the 351 swap would be easier, but
I'm almost sure the Bronco will have an NP t-case and will I need to swap this too? Both trucks have been back burner projects, but since my F250 needs
a rebuild, and I need a truck more than I need a Bronco or Ranchero, I want to do the easiest swap and have one less project. Naturally, I would like to see the 504 in my truck, but I haven't had much luck finding a trans for the swap.
