Bent AC Condensing Coils
I noticed the AC Condensing Coil inside the grill of my 2004 SD are flattening out, perhaps from bugs hitting coils? Is this normal? Is there a screen available to put in front of the Coil to prevent this?

Ac Condenser Fins
You would need an awfully big bug to bend the fins. Most condensers have flat spots in the fins--usually from careless handling when the vehicle was assembled , or from a front collision. You can get a condenser "comb" from most auto parts houses. You can usually comb out the flat spots if you can get at them. Taking out the grille on SD's is not too hard, and that would give you more access to do the job. Unless more than 25% of your condenser is flattened, I would not worry about it.
