Red face Fuel Filter ?

Stupid question, tuning up the old bronco '96, got to the fuel filter, and it won't come off? pulled back both clips still nothing won't come apart. Does it require a special tool?

Elbow grease? BTW Please be sure to have something (shop towels etc.) to catch the fuel, I scoffed at this advice when i did mine and got covered in fuel. Good Luck.

The newer Bronco's use a quick disconnet type fitting on the fuel filter like the fittings on your ac lines. Without the tool you will not get the fittings disconnected. You can buy the tool to disconnect the fittings,at a autoparts store, Sears, etc.
