Just search the internet on Wicked Wheel and you will have many options to buy. It is about $70. If you have an open intake, you will notice more turbo whine with the WW. The Turbo will spool up faster and you will reduce surge when towing. My turbo spools up faster but I can't go over 25lbs of boost now and I seen 27-28 without the WW. This is good though since the factory turbo is rated at 25lbs.

Doesn't affect exhaust noise but did lower egt's when pulling by 50 degrees or so. I needed it since I had surge when pulling my TT. It cured that 99% of the time.

A google search will yield you some options where to buy. I think dieselsite is one of them. Anyway I didn't see any gain in psi, but my turbo spools up faster. The sound is cool too. I only get surge now when towing. So it's not a cure for surge, even a mild case like mine. I hope to get an ATS housing soon. You can install it with the turbo on the truck. Get a 8mm 12pt 1/4" dr. socket and a wobbly extension and you'll be set. Check the turbo bolts again after a few hundred miles.

I did not loose any boost. I can still hit 29 psi. For me, it did cure all of my surge problems. I do not tow with my truck though. I am mainly building mine up for rodding. The sound is much, much better. Higher pitch and much more pronounced. I would not recommend changing it out while the turbo is still on the truck. However it can be done but you will be more prone to damaging the exhaust side of the turbo. It is not hard to take everything apart. Plus, you can clean better when you have it out. It is a GREAT upgrade to a modified truck.
