351 in a 46

Does anyone know if a 351w will fit in both directions under the hood of a 46 truck?

If you have dimensions, I can compare them to a Y-block. I would think it should fit in width. Length may require relief in the firewall. My Y only has about 3/16 to 1/4 inch clearance between the firewall and right rocker cover.

The 35iW is not much different size wise than a 302 so there should be no real problems. You will probably need to go with a rear sump oil pan to drop it down behind the front crossmember.
