93-96

I have a 93 ford bronco, electronic overdrive. Right now, to get it back on road, it needs new Tranny, And under dash wiring harness. Found a totaled 96 with same exact enterior, and same transmission controls. Will try to resore 93, (inside and out) with 96. Any conflics between years? A bit concerned about steering column. 96 has an airbag, and 93 dont. will dash wiring still plug into firewall? Will chage all. Tailgate, camper, axels, interior, basicly everything from the firewall back. Any conflics? Thanks

Engine wiring harness will be VERY different since 96 models went to the OBD-II computer and software and were mass air fuel injection instead of speed density. So, its most likely that the firewall connectors will be different as well. The same year or up to 95 would be a better bet (watch carefully, some 95's were mass air as well - CA models I believe). Cruise control and front ABS wiring changes happened in 93 making 92 and earlier a poor choice as well.
