How'd that get there?
Bought my 2000 PSD about two months ago. I decided to change the fuel filter because I don't know when it was last done. When I removed the old filter, O-ring, and the beveled ring, I saw two O-rings sitting at the bottom of the fuel bowl not attatched to anything!! I did remove them. Can anybody explain this?

they look to be the same size/style o-ring used to fit around the filter itself....they were just sitting at the bottom of the bowl, not attatched to anything....maybe they fell off while old filters were being removed in the past???

dont worry dd1684, i just changed mine last week also and found a spare o ring at the bottom, it was off the filter itself, good thing i drained the bowl otherwise i never would have found it. the seal on the filter cap was also on wrong.
