Tig from stick
Well I’ve searched and searched !!! I was thinking that a while ago I read that there is some way to convert a stick welder to a Tig. Is this possible ? Is there a kit available for this ? Is there any information or instructions about this ?
Or did I just dream the whole thing up ????

Their was at one time a seperate High frequency box you could buy to do this.
I believe Lincoln made it.But the problem is matching the duty cycles of both machines
so you wouldn't burn up the pwr supply.
Also the cost didn't warrant it.
Tig units are coming down in price!

Thats just what i was looking for, however after checking it out I can't use it due only have a ac buzz box. guess I'll just stay with my mig and stick welders.
