automatic tranny question
i know that the ford fmx tranny has a bolt on bellhousing but, i am trying to find out what other trannys that bellhousing will bolt onto. i have a non-ford engine with a bw11 auto tranny and i want at least a 4 speed with o/d auto. from everything i have found out the bw11 is called the fmx by ford. this is for a 4x4 pickup.

Sorry to disappoint you but grampa is incorrect.
No other transmission has a four bolt connection to the bell housing.
You could take one out of another car or truck but I don't think that's the point here.
