Where have you guys seen Ford trucks featured in film or on tv?
I just saw a '79 stepside in the Puddle of Mudd video 'control'.
The loser in the video threw away the girls keys (who is extremely hot). A man could get killed doing that!
LAST EDITED ON 10-Oct-01 AT 01:18 PM (EST)[p]Saw a tv commercial for a restuarant chain where two cowboys have their head under the hood of a '79. This cowgirl that's way overdone with the fringe and sequins drives up in a Mustang. She gets out and says "Travis, we need to talk about our relationship". The two cowboys jerk their heads up and Travis looks at his pard like he is plenty scared!
Oh yeah, and I almost forgot...
You can see my '81 F250 4x4 if you rent the video 'Marshal Law', starring Jimmy Smitts. It's a low budget, made for HBO kind of thing, so don't expect the greatest script. Smitts drives my truck in the video, and during the big earthquake scene, a palm tree falls on it! Good work by the FX guys, no damage to the truck.
How about Uncle Jessie's truck in the Dukes of Hazzard? I love how the General Lee is supposed to be the "fastes car in Hazzard", but they could outrun people just as well in the truck!
And squeeling tires on dirt roads...
Two movies: The Outfitters,(PG13) 67-72 Ford threwout the entire movie.
And Way of the Gun, with a very nice 67-68(?) Galaxy at the beggining of the movie.(R)
