Pulley replacement

Help! I've got a 71 FE 360 4bbl with A/C. There is a pulley just above the alternator that is necessary in order for the belt to be long enough to run the A/C pump. Right now I'm just running the power steering because NAPA and the local Ford dealer cannot find a replacement. The pulley is pressed on the bracket and must stand off about an inch and a half. Does anyone know a fix for this or shallI just pull the A/C out????

are you looking for a replacement? does it adjust the tension for the belt? I think I may have one, but I would need a pic to confirm.

It has a cast iron bracket with 2 holes one for mounting to the block and another for tension. The bracket was more like triangular shaped about 3 inches across. The closest thing at the parts house was stamped metal with about a 4-5 inch leg on it. This tensioner is not spring loaded. It only has a curved cut out for lengthening to allow for the belt tension. Because it also has bearings at each end of the pulley with about a 2 in offset.

I have one here with about a 2 1/4" offset from the back of the bracket to the center of the pulley.
