error code: how do you get them?
How could you get a read out of the error code from a 99 expedition?
Where does it come out? Do you need special tools or theres a reading there in the vehicle somewhere?

I assume your talking about the service engine soon light.
Dealers and I would assume most car repair facilities can read them. I picked up an OBD-II code reader over the weekend for mine.
I hear some auto parts chains will read them for free. (dealers charge a fee).
