I previously posted a problem I'm having with the cab on my 91 f150 4X4. The cab is leaning to the passenger side. I had the front coils replaced and I went ahead and put on new shocks to go with the coils. This helped the lean a bit but the cab is still low on the rear passenger side. I took some more measurements and found the body mount bushing is sagging. I wanted to know if anyone out there has installed polyurethane body mounts on their trucks. I've heard after installing them the truck rides alot rougher and has a tendency to squeak.
The people I have heard this from have never had poly mounts and I'd like to hear from someone with experience.
Chris, I've got the same problem as you do, and I would like to get some of those poly bushings as well. Where have you seen these, the only one's I've seen are with body lifts, and I would like stock height. I have some poly bushings on my car and I don't get squeeks, and let me say they make a big difference. Let me know where your getting them from
JCWhitney has them they are $49.98 for the cab mount bushings.Part #85EF7471U find them at jcwhitney.com I'm looking at getting them for my 92 F150 4X4

They know their stuff, especially when I replaced my radius arm bushings and axle pivot bushings. I'm sure they'll be able to tell you about the squeaks, roughness, and improvements.
I'd say go for Energy Suspension Polyurethane, but thats just me.
I ordered a set of Energy Suspension Poly bushings yesterday, I'll let everyone know how they are after they get installed next week. I was told by the manufacturer that they are stock
dimensions, (no lift) and will restore the trucks original body lines.
