Dash Lights
I have a 1997 Expedition XLT 4x4.
The problem I am having is with the dash lights surrounding the heater controls not working. All of the other lighting in the dash and interior is working fine. I checked all of the standard fuses with no success. I am unable to check the larger box type circuit fuses. Before I tear into the dash I was wondering if there is something simple I have missed. Could the problem be in one of the larger box style fuses? Is the lighting a typical bulb replacment type of thing or is it a special lighting that will require a parts order from Ford? Also, is tearinig into that portion of the dash going to be a bigger job than I want to take on?
Any help would be appreciated.

hey i have the exact problom on my 99 i havnt really checked into it but sometimes they work adn sometimes they do its the two in the middle where it says floor/panel and floor if i can remember. so if i find anythibng ill ppost it ima ask my friend whos a mecanic to check it out adn see if hes had any other expo's like that
